If I called the all in, i would have lost the tournament which is a high roller event. Not sure if I should have called or if it was a good fold.

I folded because he might have had AK but was kind of confused by how he checked back the turn. Perhaps it would have been a trap for me ?

Not sure how this is on small staked mtts if its a high roller event. I don't play that high but the hand looks fine to fold on the river.

1st things 1st it’s not a set it’s trips, which is 2 very different things.
A good chunk of V’s 3-betting range is Ax, so calling off seems pretty ambitious. Checking back turn makes a lot of sense for V with his weaker Ax hands, since our range also contains a good bit of Ax. A8s is definitely towards the bottom of my UTG opening range & depending on table dynamic a fold pre. Not sure if calling 3bet is sensible either. As played snap fold to the shove, we lose to too many hands and shove is way out of proportion compared to the pot.

Folding river looks fine to me
