Hi! I played this hand last night and I was actually very happy about how I played it looking back on it (which I don't have very often). Anyway maybe you guys feel differently about this.

Scenario:
45 man S&G early stage. UTG had some pretty fishy tendencies so for the sake of analyzing you can assume he is a loose passive guy.

The hand:
PokerStars, $0.23 + $0.02 - Hold'em No Limit - 15/30 (4 ante) - 8 players
Hand delivered by Upswing Poker

UTG: 1,820 (61 bb)
UTG+1: 171 (6 bb)
MP (Hero): 1,379 (46 bb)
MP+1: 1,503 (50 bb)
CO: 1,974 (66 bb)
BU: 1,364 (45 bb)
SB: 1,350 (45 bb)
BB: 2,448 (82 bb)

Pre-Flop: (77) Hero is MP with A A
UTG calls 30, UTG+1 raises to 167 (all-in), Hero calls 167, 5 players fold, UTG calls 137

Flop: (578) A Q T (3 players, 1 all-in)
UTG bets 30, Hero raises to 240, UTG calls 210

Turn: (1,058) 7 (3 players, 1 all-in)
UTG checks, Hero bets 360, UTG calls 360

River: (1,778) J (3 players, 1 all-in)
UTG checks, Hero checks

Hahaah on $0.25 everybody is with fishy tendencies. Not many nosebleeds play there.

I like the way you play preflop.

On the flop, you have an SPR of 2 and flopped a monster hand. The weak donkbet should be counted as check. You need to size your cbets so that you will go all in by the turn. I think your flop bet is too small. And definitely your turn bet. You should have not gone to the river with chips on this board with this stack size so no comment there.

I think you're better off raising pre - loose passive players don't like being pushed out of a pot so will mostly calla small raise
As stated above bet bigger on flop and turn
By the river it's a check

Why raising pre? I do not like it. The UTG+1 already raised 6bb for us. We have to only call. We want to invite other people into the pot. If we get one more call + UTG or only UTG, we will have an SPR of 2 or less. There is not really any problems playing AA on such low SPR. You basically almost always want to go broke.

Raising pre is not good because we will only be playing vs the UTG+1 and this will be a bit of waste with a hand as strong as AA.

Do you really think he will continue with Qx or Tx if we go for a bigger sizing OTF, or even a shove OTT? I agree with you that at a 2 SPR we don't mind going broke, but I'm just not sure he will call of these bets on such a wet board.

I agree with you that raising is usually best, the problem is that I would have to make it at least 304, which has a higher chance of driving people out of the pot.
