Top pair vs FD OTF : how to react? Top pair vs FD OTF : how to react?

Hi guys

Villain is unknown

I put him on some flush draw (more likely), 77 or some sort of middle pair+str8combo (like JT?)

Anyways, whats´s the best option here? If we just call we roughly have a PSB left OTT so

1.- We shove and deny villain chance to shove on us OTT
2.- We just call the raise OTF; OTT call a shove (except if FD completes?) or if villain checks we just shove ourselves

I guess it doesn't matter too much if you shove the flop or just call and wait until the turn. With these shallowish stacks I proly jam flop with how wet it is. He might level himself into a call with Kx or be priced in with his draw. When im deeper I proly just call the x/r ip and see what he does ott.

Fine as played, he just got there. Surprised he didn't just x/shove flop.

You hit my main issue with this kind of situations here because of the SPR OTF here (around 5) which I still don't know how to play very well

So if SPR was around 2,5 and we have top pair like here we jam and we are happy about it right? With a bigger one as you say we play more cautious (like 7-8?)

But with SPR 4,5-5 I feel at loss...I see a lot of regs playing these pots in a really aggressive way and still don't get the feeling to how to play them

Yea when the stacks are deeper we need to be higher up in our range to stack it off. The main thing is here we are at the top of our range on a wet board when bb should start the hand with a relatively wide range. He shouldnt have any better Kx so we should have the nut non 2p hand here and we we block other 2p usually our hand is enough
