Thought process - Please help

Hi guys,

I am a profitable micro grinder and put in crazy hours studying/improving my game. Im taking all the steps in pursuit of eventually going pro (hopefully) but atm my main hurdle is my thought process in real time. I know all the things I should be thinking about but during a hand i go blank. I am literally only a winning player because i work hard and have played for a long time. Ill take it to another level once I can think through hands properly. I need to train my brain and become robotic with it. If anyone could suggest a list of the most important things to think about during a hand, what would that look like? Examples of what people think during hands would be cool. ATM, my list looks like this but I havent implemented it yet.. BTW, all of this is postflop...
"Villains likely range
What do I beat,
WHat beats me?
Pot odds?
Stage of tournament (ICM, pay jumps, etc.)
Lastly, how important is it to be able to think thru combos while in hand? Should that be in the range part of the thought process?

Hi - I think that you need to simplify thought processes by thinking in advance about the kind of lines you're going to take with given hands - so if you raise with two broadway cards at a stack depth of 20 BB and get one caller - you know you're going to c bet flops that hit your range - commit to top pair hands in most cases etc. if you're betting you should know if its a bet/fold or a bet/call. Think about your hand and how far it is up your range and you should have a good idea of where you are going to go with the hand

This^^^. Having the plan for your play starting from pre-flop and not getting puzzled on each street is what you might want to focus on. Personally this is what I want to achieve in the next year of my poker study.

I agree, you need to have an idea of what you want to do before the cards are dealt. "I'm in late position with 20bb. If someone opens from early position, I'm shoving for value only. Against a middle open I'll shove the following range. If it's folded to me, this is what I'll open. Etc, etc."

What goes into that plan are things like tourney stage (bubble, icm), player tendencies of the opener, player tendencies behind you, your image, stack sizes, and so on.

That said, there will always be difficult spots postflop where you have to think through the details. It's important to slow down and work your way through the hand, factoring in all the above details.

like buddys say above,a plan pré flop is very important.start pratice untill you feel comfortable.
try to dominate one thing first step by step like training to learn ranges and when you feel comfortable you go to other step.is not necessary spent months training, just feel comfortable with concepts and you will get better with time.

90+% of hands are straightforward; you gain value, cEV, and money by realizing the few that are not and not making mistakes in them.

it'll be very rare you have more than one real decision at a time, so notice the ones that matter and play well the rest of the time. spots where you are getting to turn/river in thin value/good bluff/maximizing value spots.

if you play a good amount of tables, dont be afraid to use some timebank when it matters.
