Hi, can anyone please suggest me some strategy to overcome this.as the ante goes bigger in size my stack size decreases significantly and I have to go all in more than I'd like to and that most of the time gets me out of the tourney. what strategy do you guys follow to win small stake mtt?

Thanks

First you need a "push or fold chart" because you are going to do, well, a lot of pushing and folding.
Second, you can download Simple Nash
Third the general strategy when antes and blinds are big and everyone is under pressure except one or two big stacks is to play the raw equity, meaning broadways, aces and 77+

As Joey said, learn how to properly play with stack sizes that are 30 bb or less. Most of the tourneys you play will involve just such situations unless you can build a large stack early. Depending on the tourney structure you may not be able to avoid eventually being in that situation even if you do build a large early stack. For example I often play a $1 tee try tourney on stars. FT usually starts around 5-10K BB and chip leader at FT usually has around 100-150K stack. You’d better know how to play short stacked if you’re going to win such a tourney.

You wanna squeeze and 3b more when antes get bigger and more significant.

There is a good chance you are switching your mindset/play style to push/fold mode way too early. Most of the time average stack size in middle stage of a small stakes MTT is going to be 20-30bb depending on structure, which means you can still play reasonably standard unless you are a below average stack. If you find yourself being all-in too often in those spots that’s definitely something to have a look at.
