There are few hands where I played tightly when I was close to ITM. While playing live I generally didn’t care for min cashes and I looked to making it to the final table to cash big. Now that I am playing online and on somewhat of a bankroll, I am playing tighter. But I wonder if I am being too tight and missing out on opportunities to stack up. Here are some hands below. For all hands please assume that I am 5-6 spots away from the money and I know if I survive the hand I will make it.

Stats on Villain based on 35 hands: 54% VPIP, 23% PFR, 0% 3B, and calls 3B 4/6 times. So he could have some 9 (Ac9c, K9s, T9s, maybe Q9s, 98s) , he has straights (JTs) which I am losing to. I doubt he has KK since he would likely 4-bet. QQ is possible. I am not sure if he would do this with KQ but its possible. Since I have the As it is less likely he is doing it with flush draws. Overall, I am more inclined to call than fold. But since I am close to the money and he covers me I felt like folding.

Terrible turn can when Villain calls my big bet. Normally I would still shove. Because he has lot of J, some 2 pairs. But being close to ITM I am inclined to check. Thoughts?
