How did I play. I think PF and Flop were fine? What about the bet on the river? I thought the river bet would get value from Kx's out there.

I think the flop is a fold after a bet and a call - river bet is OK but would size smaller - really doubt Kx would call but you might get a customer with 2p

I would bet on the flop for protection because our hand is likely to be the best at the moment and we better reduce number of opponents who will see the turn. as for bet on the river I am really not sure if Kx will pay 2/3 pot bet sizing on the board that can complete straight and flush. We will be only called by flushes(AXdd) and better straights(AJ) and sometimes chop the pot(J9, JT, QJ, KJ).

Fold flop, bet small on the river.

Flop is an easy fold. You raised and got 4 callers and a Kxx flop, and now a player leads and another calls. You don't think there is a good chance at least one of them has Kx?

CO is aggro and IP so he could be betting anything. SB has played 3 out of 3 hands, he can have 9x or worse...

Not folding.

I'm ok with peeling one on the flop here this early. I've seen some damn awful players at micros show up with bottom pair at best, some flush draws etc. If both players were regs its an easy fold tho. Rest of hand plays itself.

So it looks like we're split between calling/folding the flop. Everyone seems to be fine with the river bet although it should be smaller to target Kx.

How do we go about finding out correct action on the flop? Just work out the combos and the odds we're getting? I can do this tomorrow evening if no one wants to try it right now.

Everyone ignores the option to bet on the flop and check on the river that is IMHO pretty reasonable line to take )

This is level 1 and the pot on the flop is pretty small. There's no need to fight over this one when we basically have 1 out if someone has a K (the Jd completes a flush).

Not folding.
The fact that CO has LAG preflop stats in a small sample means nothing with respect to how wide his betting range is here.

And playing 3/3 hands tells you nothing.

I definitely agree with Darth_Maul "fold on flop". You got 4 callers. Apart from CO is very agro, SB call as well. There is lot of Kx in players calling ranges and there is 4 callers so odds are closing to 100% that someone has K. Unless you know that will get runer runer straight or set
The way you played I would bet less on river that two pairs or even K would call.

Ok everything means nothing. I revert to defending with the best hands in my check range and call.
