Pot odds are 2 to 1. You need 33% equity to break even. Don't have an access to Equilab right now but I'd say its should be an easy call.

4 bet to ~35 bb to iso imo. Unless UTG+1 is known to be tricky I’d say his range is capped, while yours is still wide open (and tight as UTG raiser) as the initial raiser.

I know it's easily a call, but was more asking about if I should iso raise to get the UTG+1 caller out?
sorry I should've been more specific.

I'll post the results of the hand later on. Very interesting to say the least lol.

UTG+1 flatting range is pretty strong. Don't think I like putting more chips in than I have to vs. his range esp with AJs. Think I'm flatting this sb jam and looking to play a pot postflop vs utg+1 if we have to. Feels ****ty flatting oop vs utg+1 but 65bb is too much to play for.

I would 4-bet 35-40BB's to try and rep major strength. If we flat SB jam and UTG+1 calls then we're stuck playing AJs OOP vs a strong calling range.

The hand is weird, How does sb shove and we next to act if we not bb?

Anyways, 3 max AJs is very strong and facing a perceived capped range from utg+1 I like a 4b to iso instead of navigating in a bloated pot oop 3 streets

@WOWSOOOOTED

I apologize if I was unclear in my original post. We are 9 handed.
we raised utg, utg+1 called, it folded to sb who shoved, bb folded then it was back on us.

Thanks for everyones input.

here is how the hand played out (if anyone cares)........

I raise ajs utg
UTG+1 calls
sb shoves 13bb's
I 4-bet iso to about 30 bb's
UTG+1 Flats with about 40-45% of his stack

FLOP 2 3 J

I bet very small
UTG+1 calls

Turn is 5

I go allin
UTG+1 calls

river is a K

SB shows aj
HERO shows aj
UTG+1 shows...........77

After going over the hand many times I tend to agree with "Underdeveloped". I think I misplayed it a little (even though we won).
I don't like 4-betting in this spot because we would be forced to call an all-in and play a 65bb pot with AJsuited if UTG+1 does decide to gii. I think a call and cautiously play post flop is probably best option, but I could be persuaded I suppose.

The problem with flatting is that UTG +1 can rejam on us pre and put us in a tricky spot. UTG + 1 is obv a fish the way he played this hand. I'm rejamming allin pre in this case, 4 betting vs a reg/better player.

I don't like a 4bet here and am marginal as to whether to continue with the hand at all on the basis that AJs is behind the UTG+1's range and we face the prospect of playing against that range OOP in a bloated pot with a call or raise

We also aren't that likely to be ahead of the SB shoving range - I'd expect to be at best flipping against them. He's seen significant UTG action and still decided to go up against those ranges - I don't think many players are doing that with hands worse than AJ (KQs and ATs for example I don't believe would be part of their shoving range off 13bb)

AJs is toward the bottom of our UTG range, so if we are continuing with this then we must surely not be folding enough

Taking all that into account I don't really want to gamble my whole tournament on this hand. I'd dump it, expect UTG+1 to call with their entire range and live on with my healthy 62.5bb stack

How many handed is this? I thought it was 3 or 4 handed but that doesn't seem to be the case
