Unknown Villain - $15 Turbo SNG
37bb Effective
-I would normally flat here but decided to 3bet and sigh called it off
Q. Your play here, and stack size when TT/JJ you 3b/gii in these middle positions
-I felt it wasn't terrible but maybe a 3bet/fold is a better line against more passive low stakes players (expecting them to call 3bet with worse, but when they 4bet they always have it)

I wouldn't be 3x'ing the original raise. Make it 600, fold to 4 bet.

Do people often call oop with hands like 88 or AJ here in your games?

If you're entirely polarized because they're never flatting, then JJ might just be a call since you don't want to get it in. It's close though. One or two positions later I'd get it in. If I did make it 720, I might feel obligated to get it in.

This is fine imo. We can flat sometimes, but mostly 3-bet (and I like the sizing, I don't see what we accomplish by making it smaller apart from allowing to flat the 3-bet profitably with anything) and 3-bet/fold looks bad, people randomly 4-bets things that we dominate and AK represents many combos and we need like 40% equity and we have 36% vs QQ+/AK so, yeah...
