if by skype you mean skype and teamviewer, this is absolutely not a good thread. if you mean skype only, there are various threads for study groups, as well as pm's.

Are there any skype MTTs study groups? Would really like to improve my tournament game. regards

hey guys, I'm new to the site..

I used to play HU cash games, but I tilted and lost my $4k BR in less than a week. After that, I deposited $25 just to have some fun, and playing MTT's, I got it up to $5k..now I'm going up the limits (playing mostly 5+r, 11 or 16,50), but I have a lot to learn in MTT game theory..I've read a lot of MTT articles from great online players, but I think debating is always better..I'm looking for someone who can give me a little help with it..we could talk game theory over Skype, and hopefully learn from each other..

Hi. I'm restarting my MTT grinding after over half a year of break because of studies. I have experience of MTTs in 1-20$ stakes over 4k games on PS and maybe about 1k games on other sites or even more, but i think my knowledge needs quite a lot of updating. Currently im trying to get something done in pretty much in 1-4$ tourneys but would need a guys to do all kind of theory talk.

I would've PM to shutty but i think their group is bit higher level now, although i don't think that games changes too much until 20$ FO level (or at least they didn't 9 months ago). So PM if interested.

Student living in montreal.
I played on PKR in 2010-2011 with the username PartyMarty47 and grinded all the way up from .10$ freeroll STTSNGs to eventually 20$ MTT. Although I typically played 5$ MTT. Went from 0$ to about 2000$. Withdrew most of my bankroll for snowboarding gear (which now seems like a dumb investment as this has been probably the worst snowboarding winter on record for me) My drive for improvement in poker kind've died down as I put all my effort in elevating my GPA.

I'd like to get back into poker and have switched over to PokerStars as PKR is prettty much dead.

Currently have about 10$ on Stars with the username Marchinski47. So far my results have been rather abysmal and I have been actively trying to improve my game by reading, putting in some volume, etc. I do tend to tilt often and have limited my buyins to .50$ MTTSNGs and MTT. I typically play the .25$ 90man sngs. I also have trouble putting in volume and have not been able to get as much time as I used to. Currently play about 2-5 sngs a night, which I know is very low but I'd like to concentrate on a single table at a time until my bankroll is a little more cushiony.

I'd love to be part of any MTTSNG or MTT study group. I am available for group study sessions and hand analysis most nights from 7pm-1am, as well as on weekends. School definitely trumps poker so my availability will be really dependant on my school schedule once the semester starts.
