Villain is only reg on €1 rebuy hyper table. He opens about 50% btn and also limp traps premiums I have noted.

Which of the 3 options is preferable here please?

I probably defend this hand vs minraise sometimes, but with so many dead money in the pot your best move is shove all your chips in the middle

Does V always open 3x? If not usually people are are raising more with stronger hands - so prob not much fold equity - jam isn't bad but would prob call with a hand that flops so well.

You want to be pretty sure villain is not playing top of range this way and 3x/folding a lot for this to be good.

He said in OP he liked to limp trap stronger hands.



Also @pouled I'm not sure what dead money you mean. This is closer to a fold than a jam but call is best.

I don't see folding being an option. I'm not against jamming, but given the 3x and small sample, I'd just defend.

Do you think hes limping aj/kqs/tt/etc? He may be tighter from this stack depth, or perhaps wider than 50% in general.

I took this to mean he likes to limp monsters -general point is that people who split their raising ranges on the whole do it pretty predictably - raising bigger with the stronger hands - so would range 3x button raise stronger than 2x.

From a aggro player OTB I expect his raise3bb range is gonna be full of medium strength hands that want to steal. And that is dead money
You can defend but this combo is
really good to rejam and pick the pot. If you get called you will have around 33ish equity (more or less) and sometimes you will be crushed ( but I don't think he raise this size with QQ+)

Jamming has to be vastly worst than just flatting. Would rather have like A5s instead so we can block more of their calling range etc.
