Somewhere I can ask questions... Somewhere I can ask questions...

Good day to you

MontyBurnsss here, unprofitable player.

Have min cashed / just above min cashed in a few tournaments. Busted many many more.

Have the basics down but failing in some pre & post flop spots.

First major thing I have addressed is to take a step back and look at all the information - then make a decision. I now habitually take my hand from the mouse to prevent the bad click backs that I may have made previously.

I would like to start a thread for me to post some hands and ask questions about specific situations.

Not a member of any training site. Considering a few options.

Areas of Improvement -

- Bet Sizing
- Applying pressure when big stacked but in the right spots.
- Calculating my equity at speed

Areas where I have noticed an improvement of late -

- Reading opponents ranges
- Exploiting callers pre flop
- Exploiting weak pre flop activity post flop.
- Bluffing in the correct spots to represent the part of my range that could hit.

Will all of the above being said, I am still not in a position where I am profitable so I have decided to smash the studies, ask many questions and soak up as much information as I can.

Would like to focus on MTTs.

Thanks for reading, all advise welcome and I will post as I go.

Cheers

Hand 1 - Edit Ive listed my thoughts in cliffs ...

Hand history converter is corrupted so i have posted the notes below.

I will fix this as I go -

Thought process -

UTG raises and I call with K10s
one caller behind who i perceive as weak for the call,
UTG bets out on wet flop and I call with pair of K, turn hits filling any flushes
villain bets out again ...... I called which I believe was my mistake as I didnt put him on a flush or AA but somethng like AKo,KQ
I felt beat here whatever.

Should I have bet out her to represent a made flush AQs, AJs,QJs etc or just fold? I called origionally to raise on the turn if it filled up and represent but something stopped me.

The check behind was as I knew he had my pair of kings beat for some reason.

.....

Should I raise here or just fold?

Looking at the calling ranges it looks like I shouldnt even be here in the first place. So in future fold pre?

I had villain marked as loose from the play at the table. That is my excuse I guess.
