Hi guys,

I've started to play some mtts after a long period of pause. I played cash in my past.
I have a situation which I'm not sure about, and i want to improve.
Here we are at the final table. It's my shove right? TY

Super standard

With shallows stacks at the table, big cards got more value. Better to push this than 76s T8s 22-77

that might be a pretty marginal $EV value close to 0. do you have the payouts structure?

I think it's probably more valuable to study how you ended up so short. You need at least 15bb to be able to exercise any kind of edge. Floating into these spots is not good.

It's significantly more +ev to jam low pockets here then hands such as QJo even though it's a clear jam

I'm this short all the time it's completely normal to find yourself this short if you lose an all-in or just can't pick a hand you can shove. That being said OP would probably benefit from checking out PUSH fold charts.

so here is an example of icm push fold for hero in one of the payout presets in ICMizer

JQo is +$EV but it's really marginal.

With 7bb i don't push with ICM $...
Being the shortstack and with 2 tables running (payouts doesn't change much) , try with +cev

But people call way too tight on final tables - so it's pretty clear +$EV

One question for you guys

I know in this spot we are the shortest stack but nevertheless we can still "hurt" MP and CO...when we are short but still can hurt medium stacks should we play aggresively vs them and tighten up a litltle bit vs big stacks

I know this is not the exact spot as we can get called by big guys at the blinds , just a general strategy question....

Calling ranges in ICM mode are controlled by the bubble factor and in general they are tighter than than non-ICM ranges, so people are doing it all right. Yes, it's +$EV push, but it's really marginal. Personally I would prefer to fold here and see if CO guy will be busted.
