fold, fold, CO raises to 2.1 BB, BTN raises to 7 BB, fold, Hero calls 6 BB, CO calls 4.9 BB

Flop: (22.23 BB, 3 players) J

Hero bets 11.5 BB, fold, BTN raises to 120.93 BB and is all-in, Hero ?

Are you inclined to think villain is on a draw ? Would you raise PF or check on the flop ? V is 33/21 and AFq 44 after 40 hands and Steal 40. Not much of a read then. But gave stat FYI
I guess hero has to call but I’d like to have your reasoning about how to ply this hand against two villains

I would lean toward a pre flop raise because your hand pre is very strong v button range. Since you called and hit the set...I think the flop is certainly a check/call to see turn and then decide how to play from there. As played, call as draws/two pair may outweigh villain's made straights, made straight might just call.

I would 4-bet pre vs CO open and BTN 3-bet ranges. I don’t like calling and then playing OOP post flop, also by just calling we are giving CO great odds to call behind. As played never leading this flop, might c/r depending on what happens behind. If BTN has KT in that spot it’s unfortunate, but you are beating everything else. Even if he has the straight you are not stone dead you got quite a few outs left. V having something like AQ, KK or AA in that spot seems a lot more likely then KT.

I would feel much better about 4! Pre if we had any kind of an indication BTN was a decent player. It’s just kinda sick when we 4 bet and get jammed on IMO...

X/c flop is bad imo, always x/r to jam turn

If that's true then most of the time we are dodging bullets as the Jam will be QQ KK AA or AK.
