Running bad or playing bad? Running bad or playing bad?

sorry if this is in the wrong area to post this
so I started playing poker midway through last year, I was playing play money and studying the game, I started playing for real money in the 25c 45 man sit n go's on stars. i was doing all right with these. making profit, having up and down swings, started moving up to $1 games and was still going alright, profiting over $70 from when I started.
but since that peak I just haven't being profiting, in fact i am now in the red.
i am going crazy trying to work out what's happening, I have been reading several poker books ever since I started playing. I've gotten poker tracker so I am now trying to compare the stats from before the peak and after the peak.

though most of the stats seem pretty similar they big thing jumping out is the short stack bb/100. I seem to have become better at the deeper stack and completely incompetent at shorter stacks. is the a big enough sample size for these stats to be relevant? could it still just be running bad?
what could I do to try and get back to my winning ways?

I might be wrong here, but swings over hundreds or even thousands of tournaments are normal in SNG. Try reading up on variance and what to expect in this format

Yeah agree with previous poster here. Your sample size is way too small to draw any big conclusions.

Yo man. I farmed SNG for some mounths and build my bankroll very quickly and stats you should be looking for is on the blinds levels. 10/20 15/30 you should be loosing chips since you mostly fold everything that is not premium. When you reach 25/50 and 40/80 you should increase your activity alot and start to steal blinds.

I can't post mine stats since I was stupid and did forget to backup all my hands history after I fixed my computer.(it got deleted when I said it shouldn't delete those files)

Your sample size is also very low. But it's so much good information on YouTube how to beat sng.
