So, if you are playing a 1r/1a rule in the 3.30r and then the 8.00, and play an even mix of them, your average buy-in is $8.65 (9.30+8.00= 17/2 = $8.65), but we will assume sometimes you are reloading in the rebuy or busting before that and opt to not re-buy, so you have might be at an average buy-in of $9.40 (6.30+15.30+8.00+8.00 = 37.6/4 = $9.40), so somewhere between 8.65 and 9.40 x 500 buy-ins would be $4325.00 and $4700. Yes, more conservative, but you won't be reloading, and if you need to step down to 2.50-4.40 range for awhile, you always can, rebuild, and come back up

BR suggestion is $4325-$4700, a very conservative one...

i currently play around 4-6 18 man micros at a time. Im playing purely to increase my bankroll to transition fully to tournaments. My question is would it be better to play only turbos for the increased hourly rate despite variance?

is it possible to have roi over 30%? what are your roi's in these games? and what sample do i need? 2k games?

Yes, 30-40% is attainable. Idk about sample size, but 2k games sure as hell isnt even close to being enough.

Which format do you enjoy the most? This is most important - you'll excel at something you like better.

If you don't mind swings, turbos will probably give you a higher hourly rate.

It's a very broad question. I'd have to know you personally to answer the question. It's impossible to say "turbos are better" or whatever. Just get a good sample in both and see what you prefer / what's more profitable

most people don't have the same ROI in turbos as regular. Generally (and I mean generally) people have higher ROIs in regular as you get to play more poker before the push fold part of the game (i.e. reducing the luck factor). But those games obviously take twice as long.

So you need to do the math yourself.

If your ROI in regulars is 20% and only 5% in turbos, then regular is the way to go for a better hourly.

If your ROI in regulars is 20% and only 15% in turbos, then turbos are the way to go for a better hourly.

You also need to take into account how quickly they fill up too. I know the 45 man regulars take ages. I would love to play only regular, but it wouldn't be feasible as it takes forever to fill.

50% at least!

50% is doable, but the very best regulars in the game make in most cases not more than 40% (at least the guys i searched on sharkscope). For sure there are a couple of higher stakes players which would make 50%+ if they would play these games regularly.
One can be quite satisfied having over 25% in these games btw. Especially considering that this game dried up quite a bit the last years.

Do you guys take rebuys and addons in consideration?
The average buy-in is 10- 11$. I doubt anyone makes 5$/game.

Iactually find myself playing better in the turbos despite it only being a $1.50 set of games. The load times are very fast i have counted 5 filling up before one regular 18 man does

Sharkscope not entirely accurate for rebuys. They calculate ROI based on average buy-in. If you're like me, and only play one bullet at a time, your actual ROI will be well more than what Sharkscope reports.

Hello i was looking my roi and itm stats which i guess are not that great...

good news is that i am new at mttsng i start playing 3-4 months now
starting with a bankroll of 20$ from 0,50 and now playing a mix of 1$ 90man and 2,50$ 180man and a bankroll around 600$

sample is around 3,5k tournaments
roi is around 11%
itm around 20%

can i have any conlusion for these stats ? i noticed that the good regulars i have search have much smaller itm and ofcourese much bigger roi which means i guess they are more aggresive and maybe shoving wider or something

any help ?

Adjust to all of your opponents. If you can do that, you'd be doing better than the good regulars.

You shouldn't be thinking about ROI/ITM. You should be thinking about making adjustments to different types of players.
