I don't think it's sustainable if mass multitable. It's more like 40-45% which is is still outstanding
I meant 35-40. see my first reply in this topic.
But i'm curious if someone who grinds these 2.50's has a 40+roi over a minimal sample of like 15000 games.. I've never seen it. But maybe jorginho if he keeps crushing like this gl

You could say that I should just be playing few tables until all my decisions are optimal, but when you're grinding a roll you also want to keep some volume up

Completely understand how being results orientated is the biggest villain in any players game, though.

Re: $8 180 players and $3R+

you need about 2k to be confy...don't listen to all this grinders...it s ok to relax a bit at them...and if you play few tables it's ok...

Re: $8 180 players and $3R+

well i have a 50% roi at an a.b.i. of $5 at the 180s over 6k games and have had 2 150bi downswings in that period so it definitely happens.

Thik your subconcious its playing tricks on you, cuz if u were a winning player (not saying ur not), you cant be worried of going broke, only reason why winning players go broke its for not having a proper/healthy bankroll management guidelines, they tend to trust their skill way too much and underestimate variance, i think $500 (200 buy ins) for the $2.50 isnt enough and thats why you`re worry.

400 buy ins its a lot dif and a healthy BRM rule, i personally would like 500 buy ins, especially for higher limits, but thats just me.

200-300 buy ins downers are very common and i have heard of 360, 380 and even more than 400 BIs downers, i have heard of 5k and 10k games breakeven streches, variance in those 180s its just sick and you need to have a very strong mindset if you`re thinking on grinding them on a daily regular bases, cheers.

Well played! You should not be complaining about winning $110 over two days. I don't know how many tables you play but it sounds like you've run slightly above expectation in two days. Expect losing weeks / months in these.

As for BRM, 500BI is nice and comfortable (mentally too). Of course it depends on your ability. 10,000 buy ins isn't enough if you're a losing player.

It's pretty unlikely you'll go broke starting from 500 (if you're decent), but def possible.

the swings in 180s can be big much bigger then 80 in a session, i'd suggest continue with the 90s and play say 1 2.50 for every 4-6 1s you play,

as others said above, 400-500 bi's for 2.50 180s is good cause the swings wont effect you emotionally

moving up!! need some advice/info!

Hello everyone

at february i started playing sng's with a 20$ bankroll mostry playing 0.50$ 1$ 45-90 man turbo's today my bankroll its around 400$ and i guess its time to move up!

my roi was around 25% and i am 12tabling

my problem is that there is no buyin scale on 90man turbo that i really like the most... they should add more of those i guess

so i am thinkng that maybe the best senario is to start playing the 2.50$ turbos 180man cause i think the gameflow and strategy is close to the 90man turbos (maybe i am wronge).

so here is my questions!
What is a normal/good/godly roi in the 180man turbo for a grinder?
Is the 180man "game plan" close to 90man ?
Do you think i should try something else and not the 2.50$ 180man turbo's ?
How is variance in 180man turbo's ?
Any advice is more than welcome!
25% roi i am having on 45-90man 0.50$-1$ turbo's is considering good/normal/bad ?

thank you

Don't worry about ROI, your first concern should be improving your game. There's alot of threads about the 180's ROI, use the search feature

Basically yes.

U can try the $3.50 45man, less variance altough u should be more aware of ICM.

Worst than u might think

Lol at counting downswings mid session, when you have games open don't look at the cashier.
