Hi guys

My question is not about how i played hand , but how did V do it , that´s why i posted the result.

Is his final shove the optimal play? He knows i am not going to fold to the reraise (i commited myself) and i assume he knows he is flipping (at least) so...is this one of those spots you - as V did - know you are flipping and are ready to take the risk?

He knows that you know that if u c/r then u are not going to fold if he jams. Without clubs in his hand versus BB calling range that includes literally all the suited hands it looks like spewing.

haha i had to read this twice

Ummm not sure he is THAT way behind , I played with Flopzilla a little bit with some ranges (probably something wider that you have in mind , like AcX) and perhaps he wanted to risk....

uummm so for you it´s : clear fold>>>> *sigh* call ?

I think i would be able to fold but it's easy to just say that, but a way more difficult to implement

Everyone played this hand bad on the flop. Should just c/c as hero and he shouldn't want to jam this flop too often. It hits BB range way harder and we can have more clubs and we also have 74s and some may defend 42s. We also have 56/63s etc.

I would love the x/r on a two-club flop but on a flushed flop you're only a coin flip fav against any hands that include two overcards and a club.

His play is terrible because he's never ahead of your range there. With his hand i would check behind on the flop and hope for showdown.

UUmmmm not sure I am following you this time.

I think there's only a 14,4% chance he has a club and like a 2,5% he hit the flush...and I am not even talking about the combo "club+ overcards" , just a single club

Also : I have a monster combo but if I wait to the turn my chances are decreased by half...why wait? i wanted to apply max pressure when my equity is highest ; that's why I chose this raise bet as I want to tell the V that he has no FE now versus me and I want to see the 5 cards and realize it

I'm not worried about a flopped flush, I'm worried about all the combos of overcards to your 7 that include a club.

And you don't have a monster combo - you have a baby flush draw with a gutter and middle pair. That's what I would call a decent draw, and one that should generally be played passively not aggressively.
