Hi all,

Looking for default calling range here - I have 17 hands on villain so not much of a read. No idea if he's ICM aware, if so you would think hes doing this tighter than usual cos of short stacks. AQ/99?

    Hero (MP): 32,590 (13 bb)
    CO: 25,443 (10.2 bb)
    BTN: 18,296 (7.3 bb)
    SB: 18,456 (7.4 bb)
    BB: 58,773 (23.5 bb)

Preflop: Hero is MP with A J
Hero raises to 5,500, CO raises to 25,193 and is all-in, 4 folds

Never wider than AJ+, 77+. Potentially calling tighter depending on players. In this particular situation, I might only call off AQ+, 99+. CO needs to be super tight here and I think even unknowns or fish will realize this with two other short stacks behind him.

Shoving pre is fine, too. Raise-calling might be more profitable depending on how wide each player will shove, but shoving also makes life easier if you think the bb will flat a lot and mess with you post.

As played call, but you should just be shoving this pre

use icm to find out if the play is good.

I have. Icmizer suggests AQ/99+. Equally valid question is how wide do we think villain shoves here? I just felt shoving 13bb into chipleader with so many short stacks was icm suicide. Could be wrong!

I don't think it's a great strat to start raise/folding hands that are very profitable openshoves.

I almost always jam this pre to make life easier, but raise-calling everyone but the CO here might be more profitable than open-jamming (based on his sizing to 5500). I say might because after playing around with different FGS in Icmizer2, it gives us some different results.

Open shove is clearly the best play, icm looks a little nity but without reads i REMAIN WITH ICM.

I don't think raise folding off of these stack sizes is optimal. I don't mind raising in order to induce spews, but just shoving pre is also fine.
