preflop is standard, I would 3bet this almost every time and with similar sizing, do we any info on the villain? Is he capable to slow play AA and KK?

OTF i would cbet smaller, only like 25% to 40% depending on the villain´s stats and his tendencies. If I had no info, I would cbet this for about 30% pot, but not every time, sometimes I would check just to strengthen my checking range in these spots.

The shove from villain looks a lot like a draw (AhX) or a strong value hand (set, small flush) that would just like to pickup the right now, and againts this range you are a favourite, so probably, i would just close my eyes and call (not happy about it), expecting to win the pot about 60% of the time.

Thank you for your answer kenobi.
I had no info on him indeed.
I should probably bet smaller on flop but thought spot to lay down our hand here with Qh i agree.

I made the call after bit of tanking and vilain shown 4d 4s for a set of 4.
Sadly no more h on board i busted this tourn.

Don't get tricky with QQ it's just best to 3bet as a default here as it gives us the most value.

I'd just cbet around 30-40%. Your not really scared of anything so going so large is just burning value from weaker hands as they will most likely just fold.

As played it's a pretty easy call here our equity is simply to high with this much invested into the pot.

Easy call and I would play pretty much as you did up to that point as well. Chalk it up to the negative side of variance. If you're folding here you're losing money in the long run.

Hi Ovii, Would you mind elaborating a bit on how you would utilise your stat readings (or other tendencies) to dictate your bet sizing here?

Thanks

For me it would depend on how ofter villain folds to cbet, if often, I would choose a smaller sizing, if he is a calling station I would cbet more, closer to 40%.

If I would see him make some crazy plays before, I would try to adjust and based on his tendicies I could check and let him bluff.

Also this spot requires caution, if a lot of money goes into the pot, you are probably behind, as you were in this exact spot.
