I honestly couldn't figure out what he bets like this with that I'm beating, maybe playing a flush draw real aggressively? Or bluffing me off my medium kicker jack. Thoughts?

Shove the rest in.

This is a BvB spot so ranges will be much wider than normal. That means his range will be wider, and he will perceive your range to be pretty wide too. That means he could be playing back at you with lots of worse hands, knowing your range is a lot wider than Jx there.

I see, thanks for the analysis.

I thought he might be on a draw which is why I called on the flop

When he fired again on the turn I got nervous, like would he really want to take the betting lead and continue like that with only a flush draw?

Wow I know BvB ranges can be wide but is not V showing massive strength?

Also if we call turn we are playing for stacks....is it good to GII with TP medium kicker for 29 BB?

Or to ask my question in another way : is there any rule of thumb as to know how much we should risk in BvB battle? So with TP we are comfortable GII with around 25-30 BB? To be honest I have no clue as how to play these spots....
