And related to this... when you are heads up, how does one factor in the bounty to the equation? Say its in a 22 dollar bounty tournament and and each bounty is worth 5.75.
And its 50000 starting stack. To make it very simple. Player A has 30BB and Player B has 10BB. Player B collected 292.71 dollars in bounties and has 303 dollar bounty on itself. Player B now jams all in for 10bb.


Someone a while back mentioned when you are heads up, you are suppose to play it like a freeze and NOT A BOUNTY TOURNAMENT... is that true or false? So you are not suppose to add in the chips that the bounty would be worth to the equation? So player B shoves 10bb and has 303 bounty on itself.



So that would be 303 bounty/5.75 bounty = 52.70. Then you take 52.70 x 50000 starting stack = 2.635 million in chips? Or is it half? Because if its not heads up, then its only half i believe? But since its heads up... wouldn't that mean 2.635 million chips is added to the pot so player A can now factor in the pot odds to call the 10bb shove with that extra 2.635 million in chips? Or its half of that? Or that is completely ignored because its now a freezeout?

Can someone tell me what is wrong with my calcuation in a bounty tournement i witnessed when it went to heads up with those numbers?


When you are heads up and win, you win half or the other players full bounty that is shown? And you also win the full bounty shown on your head?

I always thought you only get 1/2 half their bounty that is shown... and also get your own full bounty shown. But from looking at it, you get their full bounty?


Also related question. But does ICM matter a lot in bounty tournaments?

I might be missing context, but you immediately get the full amount shown, the amount shown is half of their total bounty.

You mean when you bust a player on stars or you mean when its heads up? I know on stars whatever bounty is shown on a player, you get that full amount.


But i meant when it gets to heads up and you bust that player. So you get his full bounty that is shown... and the full bounty shown on yourself at the table?
