Playing AK too nitty here? Playing AK too nitty here?

So we're in the first blind level 15/30 and I decided to 3-bet AK IP. Getting a fishy caller in the BB and facing a large 4-bet from the CO. Now considering I'm IP and it was just the first level 5-bet shoving might have been a bit too ballsy, I thought, so I called. Now how would you play this post flop?

This board hits both our ranges pretty hard. Putting him on JJ+, AK and a potential overplayed AQ type of hand. With a 4-bet bluffing range of KQo, AJo I don't think he should have many more bluffs because of the bb limp. QJs, KJs, some possibly connectors play too well postflop also mw.

I decided to use my position for pot control on the turn by checking back, same goes for the river.

Now the question: Should I have shoved somewhere on the flop, turn or river? I personally think I might have played this hand a bit too nitty post flop. I just could see him checking his AA's after my preflop and flop call very often, putting me on JJ's+ and quite some two pair combo's. The only hand I would get value from is AQ I figured.

Thoughts?

Shove the turn, unlikely he's checking anything but maybe A10 trying to slow play the nuts, and for that to be in his 4B range would be rather loose. He should be betting everything beating you on the turn, a very strange check by him.

Absent a read we have to give him credit for a very tight 4b range, like QQ+/AK. But I agree with untimelybluff that he's not checking that turn with QQ-AA. So we're left with AK, and he's checking the turn because he's scared of your range on that board. A shove might actually fold AK there.

Hand is fine as played.

Also can flat pre a lot of the time as well. We disguise our hand and its not like we're going broke when we flop ok hands like top pair or even 2pr on a similar board etc. We also almost always going to have position as well.
