its not exactly what everyone here asked for but they have added a new mtt sng. Its a 48 player zoom, BTC (beat clock) 5 min timed game. Thoughts? Anybody played these games yet

yeah wtf is this??? absurd rake.. cmon.. i like the idea but they are unbeatable with that rake. Also they added a $15 sng 27-180 on demand. Thats great. now do the same with Zoom please!!

Or add more Beat The Clock(BTC) zoom with different times (5 min, 10 min, 15 min). The longer ones 10 min, 15 min, would start with smaller blind level /same stack.

Thats by design i think, PokerStars (Under Amaya) just doesnt care about professional poker players anymore, best way they have to enforce not having a reg infested game that scares recreational/depositors is by charging ridic amounts of rake to make these new formats very appealing to those recreational/depositors at the same time not appealing to regulars, my 2cc.

Well they're reading feedback from somewhere as payouts have changed in the on-demands again. First place has more 25-26% now rather than the 20% max it had before.

Think they've shaved a slither off the amount of players they're paying out aswell.

I really liked Full Tilt having the Zoom SnG starting every 2 or 3 minutes. Maybe an idea for Stars as well?

okay I have. have you looked at the competition there? Rake isnt the only thing to determine if a game is beatable. Those so called unbeatable hyper 18s people were berating itt are actually beatable. Although raked quite high they are beatable for small margins I believe. So rake is a factor in determining if a game is beatable, but certainly not the only one.

If he's popular with fans of one team and unpopular with fans of the all other teams then he's probably a net negative to the site. If he's just unpopular with fans of just one team then it's probably still ok.

He´s the most popular athlete in the world and the most followed in social media taking into account the major platforms like facebook, twitter and instagram right now ahead of guys like Lebron James and even Messi (according to several rankings on sites like forbes, espn, sporteology, among others) thats why PokerStars picked him up to promote the site/format/games. I understand the guy isnt liked by many people due to his personality but u know haters gonna hate.

+1. Please stars, bring some form of zoom SnG MTT. Compared to the old full tilt, I feel that the zoom tournament schedule is very light. I'm sure there are many players in situations that they love to play tournaments, but don't like Turbos and don't have the time to play regular tournaments. Zoom sits nicely in the middle in that it allows a turbo structure with increased amounts of hands played. I believe lots of former full tilt players miss these tournaments.

There are more non-madrid fans than there are madrid fans....And no, I'm not a Barcelona fan. I love football and then there is only one team in the world you can support: Ajax! But what I meant was that a company wants someone to be the face of the company who is loved and liked by most and least hated by the others. A lot of people dislike ronaldo because of the way he acts on the field, it's a cry-baby. I understand Pokerstars used that tennisplayer or the real ronaldo, but this ronaldo is not a good ambassador regardless of what team he plays for.

I don't know enough about modern football to know how this guy is viewed. Certainly Gary Lineker's post football career is partly built on his fair-play image (567 games, 0 red cards, 0 yellow cards 0 cautions from referees) so if this guy's the opposite then wingchunwarrior might be right.
