Very nice guide Furo. You are one of the SSMTT posters that I always look forward to seeing MTT strats from. I am starting to play more 180s of late as stts are pretty much a dead game full of rakeback bots, but I missed this the first time around.

A few points I'd like to add, I do not think limping any PP UTG with 50bb stacks in the micros will ever be bad. The tables are almost always loose passive, and you will probably know if they aren't and should fold if the table is aggressive.

Your advice of waiting a few rotations to identify the players before getting out of line is excellent advice. Once you are pretty sure someone is a loose passive or loose aggressive donk, capitalize on it before someone else does imo.

Hands like KJo+, ATo+ are very good for isolating one or two players you have identified as loose passive (especially IP). Not only do they c/f so many flops, but they will call preflop with many hands that you dominate post flop, so if flop top pair, you can be pretty sure that you have the majority of there flop c/c range dominated by your range.

There are a lot of 'thin' spots versus lags with hands like 77 on a 'dry air low card' boards etc where you can consistently get your stack in as a 60%+ favorite vs their likely range. Don't miss these are this is by far a large enough edge to take the risk of being dominated.

Build a stack, pwn and profit!

Cliffs, there is a ton of value from bad players at early stages if you can do some basic hand reading that other regs do not try to exploit. If they are waiting for premiums and you are profiting off a wider range, you win more on average!

I'm pretty new to playing online playing about 3.5months and at the moment these SNGs are what I mostly play.

I gotta say this guide has been a massive help. Currently ROI of 43% $350 bucks up after around 150. Which I'm pretty happy with but theres still a lot of room for improvement, mainly need to cut out the silly mistakes.

But yeah thank you big time.

the average early tableplay in these is ~33/5 which means we will often see an unraised flop 3-6way vs donks. so in theory its great to limp early to see a flop but if you play alot of tables i would still just fold them readless and concentrade on the premiums or LP-spots.
i think flatting some small pairs from MP2+ is decent at 10/20 and 15/30 on a table without good players.
you will get isoed too often if you limp from MP vs good players and at 15/30 its usually too much of the stack to setmine profitably OOP

as for the rest playing pots in position vs bad players (if possible heads up vs 1 player) is very profitable .

I find that minraising over open limp small pp from EP is way more effective when you're at 10/20;15/30.When youre open limping lots of bad players iso raising you with KJ;AT;etc and even smaller pp.With minraise youre show more strength, keep pre-flop pot smaller in case someone will minreraise you(which happens pretty often in these at early blind levels) and make all hands just flat you which would often iso raise you when you'd limp. All in all its very cheap way to setmine from EP.
