Hello guys,

I started playing sng mtt 3,5$ turbo rebuy on stars. I like mtt mode and this kind of sng is very good for me to learn more about tournaments.

But... I realized that this SNG got own specific... ppl there are so ****** tight, regulars are rocks.
I saw that many of them wait even with 3-4bb on nuts like 66-AA / AK-AT / KQ. They are not pushing more.

I try to play with different strategies and pushing wider, but I got badluck and many times players after me hit smth better.

Don't know what to do - wait like them only for nuts? ;/

Is there any ppl who play this and winning and would like to make small learning group?

To my understanding these MTSNG end up with the avg being around 8-15 bbs on the last levels.. If that is the case, I think when you are like 6bbs deep it is not like in a MTT where the avg is 30bb..

When the average is around 10 blinds, you shouldn't risk your 5-7bb jamming too wide to double up, you are doing just fine. Opening your shoving range vs tight players is the right move, but don't get too aggressive..

Also some laydowns are very important in this kind of format, where you know people are waiting till they have a nutted hand, your AJs isn't worth that much even with 8 bbs, where in other formats you would pray to get it in with AJ having 8bb.

Not an expert in this format, just makes sense to me.
