Home game, small buy-in tourney, NLHE.
5 players remain, 4 places get paid.
My stack is 5900, the short stack at the table.
The BB is 1200, I am UTG with K3off. My table image is tight-ish.
I shoved all-in instead of folding and waiting for the next hand, when I would be the BB and have to put in over 20% of my chips.
Was this a good play or a bad play?

That's a fold. The problem when you get that low is you have no fold equity, plus you're on the bubble. On the next hand you'll be in the BB but you could always get a walk, a free look at the flop, or a better hand to go with.

yes a bit too weak - would probably go with it on the button depending on how much damage we can do to BB's stack , their tendencies how tight the table is etc.

I'll post what I had written in the other thread:

I'd say no, but I'm a nit. :-p

In all honesty I would take a better hand - 4BB isn't getting any fold equity IMO, and K3 even against three players doesn't hold well I think.
Also to add using the FTT app, K3o is just outside the push range.

Thank you all for answering!

After some time to think about it, and reading the answers I got, I think folding was the better option.

I appreciate the feedback!
