Hi all, no hand history as from £25 live buy in.
I have just moved to this table, 3 hands only all of which I folded. No icm consideration

Blinds are 200/400/25 ante. I have 16k in my stack 40bb.

I am utg at full table of 9, and look down at AKhh. I open to 1100. One call in mp, and both blinds come along.

Flop is
A34 rainbow, one heart. 5k in the pot.

Blinds both check, I continue for 2,500. Villain in mp raise to 10k, which is pretty much my whole stack.

I really wasn't sure if I should call?

It seems obvious to me and probably the whole table I have an Ace, so villain behind is saying, "I can beat your Ace". Surely hands I beat are just calling here?

But on flip side I have spr of 3:1 on the flop... can I fold tptk after betting?

It depends on how much credit you want to give your opponent. Just cause it seems obvious to you doesn't mean it is to everybody. If he gives you credit for having an ace, then why would he be calling with something A3 or A4 when he's going to be outkicked? I am relatively happy with AK on that flop. Most of the time I think your opponent has a worse ace.

Bro, get your stack in right there on the flop. You get stacked by some random set sometime, just the reality of live poker when you cant grind volume like you can online. He shows up with a worse ace way too often. Consider the skill level of the competition at this buyin
