Hi guys

V is 34/26 in 75 hands. 3bets from CO 33% (3). Quite aggro postflop , but not too much.

I was quite active from late positions , but dont remember anything special about table dinamics right now

Plenty of Jx in villainīs range , althought pot odds are very good...what do we do?

Can you elaborate a bit more?

1.- Why are we betting?
1.b) - if so , why such a small amount
2. What to do if raised by the villain?

Thanks

V's range to 3b and then check back flop is normally hands with sdv but below top pair so JJ QQ primarily. some monsters also but these will normally raise the turn so they have a whole bunch of JJ QQ on the river here - may also be some weaker Kx - not bet on the flop inc KJ - hands like KQ QQ are not always going to bet for value her so it's somewhat close but I think it's always a call.

Another way of looking at is that we are right at the top of the range to check river so should call.

Idea of a small river bet is as a blocking bet and a r/f - don't like this unless we are sure that V doesn't have the nerve to bluff raise here.

if u are sure that V does have some balls to bluff, u should r/c
IMHO it's better than checking, facing a bet and start guessing.

r/c will lose a ton of $

Reasons to check river? What is the plan? Fold to a bet? I don't think so
Ap, raise at this point will fold weaker hands. Take the price and call

basically this is probing/blocking bet. If V does not have Jx, that's pretty unlikely that he will be bluffing. If he has AQ/AK he will be tempted to call such a small bet. If he raises, then just fold.

Plan is to check and reevaluate.

We donīt know if V going to bet and , if he bets , we dont know how much....

As oldgoat says i think itīs a close call/close fold (probably call , lose , shrug and play next hand) but always interested in learning from other opinions

With a small blocking bet in such a wet board it doesnt matter if he has the Jx or not...we are vulnerable to a bluff and it put us on a difficult position...
