Should I bet more OTF?

The turn made me really uncomfortable and I struggled with sizing in game. Is this too small? I felt like checking wasn't an option and I needed to deny equity, but is checking okay since we have BDE w Js?

I checked the river. My thought process was we unblock all Jx including Jsxs, so we let him stab and call. But looking back on it I don't really see a Jx in his range that continues on the flop that doesn't 3b or fold pre? Am I thinking about this the right way? Do we just sigh call bc of the sizing?

I don't see why you unblock Jx tbh. You block KJo and QJo which both should just be flatting preflop. Problem is villain can have JTo here. Are you pure raising your sb range and never limping? What suits are your cards? I assume you don't have a spade or club in hand? I can't really give much flop/turn feedback without knowing. Esp the river if you have Ks or not really matters. But getting nearly 5-1 I'm prob cry calling river.

Also where was villain open limping and what were the wrong 3b sizes used?

Yeah, you're just too far up in your range to fold river for this price it seems like. It feels like exactly how a fish would play Tx but they're likely imba and should have a lot of bluffs too.

I play it the same and sigh call river, thanking him for not putting us all in. If he's fishy and doesn't have a good grasp of bet sizing, we can't assume he would use a polarizing size with a river bluff. This could be a fishy attempt to bluff for cheap.

Super happy to snap call as played. I wouldn't cbet 43% here, but it's fine. You could size up. Not exactly sure what you mean, villain can have some Jx; Jxss, j8, etc. And OTR vs that sizing we can beat value.

When I showed strengh (like 2 barrels), and then villain bets small OTR, my read is they want me to call and I often overfold as an exploit at those stakes.

But maybe not in this specific spot though...
V being a bad player, he can have worse Qx or even 9x, and he doesn't know what he is doing with that bet.
Plus the busted draws turned into a bluff of course.

Also nobody answered OP's question about what to do on the turn. I would have struggled too OTT.

Hero has top pair, an overcard and a gutshot on the turn. There's not really much to answer. Betting and checking are fine to mix on the turn. Prob bet more often without a spade since they'll call more.
