Ignition $5 MTT, early-to-mid stage, 9-handed.

I open LJ (58bb stack) to 2.6bb with KK. HJ calls, BU calls, BB calls. HJ is tight/fairly aggressive, BB is a loose passive fish. Both cover me.

Flop (10.9bb): Q38. BB checks, I bet 4.4bb, only HJ calls.

Turn (19.7bb): 4. I bet 15.2bb planning to jam safe rivers. HJ raises me all-in for ~35bb more.

Do you call it off here? Not loving it, but I felt like I was only losing to 88 or 33, and if there are even a few combo-draw-type hands (e.g. just AQs, JTss, QTcc) I have a decent shot. Also, how is sizing?

Sizing is fine on turn but should be a little bigger on flop so it is easier to shove on river or even turn. I would open stronger on LJ with KK also, like 3bb or even 3,5bb in order to cut the odds of HJ and be sure the tight HJ is either out of the way or in with a good hand. So then you could eliminate any weird hand like Q8 or 34. As played you can call because he has a lot more combos that you beat than the other way around. And even if he has some uncanny double pairs like Q3 or Q8, you still can win if the 3 or 4 doubles.

P.S. : I hate AJ too
