Small Stakes MTT with 24 players left. In the $$$!

$2500/$5000+$500, 7 players
UTG+1 (Hero) AA: $162,611. (32.5BB)
BB (Villain): $108,331 (21.6BB)
$11,000 in the pot...
All other players folded in this hand....

Hero raises to $12,500 (2.5BB). There is $23,000 in the pot
Villain calls for $7,500.
$31,000 in the pot...

Did I raise enough, or did I let the BB in too cheap?

Not possible to have better than a pair preflop in NLHE. This is about as big as I'd raise here as a default.

I think he is trying to see turn cheap but in the same time build pot a bit in case he hit draw
