I am under impression that he has strong range because:
1) his stat indicates that he 3-bets only 5.57% of times pre-flop. the sample size is large enough to rely on this number.
2) he 3-bets against two MP opponents. Back in days people squeezed with all types of hands, but lately I am under impression that they are doing this with stronger ranges because they get called more often than not.
3) He knows that he will be OOP post-flop, aggressor, with 1 or 2 opponents ahead.
4) He raises 16.67% of his stack. It's a large portion.
Based on these assumptions I put him on top 5% of hands. JJ+, AJs+, AQo+.

hear maybe the only thing we can do is play to hit a set or just fold because if you hit you have the chances to extract 8X more than your initial investment and if you mist ch/f.
as said by Cizixap his range looks very strong and have more equity than your hand.

It's a tough spot pre. Your open was fairly large and with a flat behind, that's an awful lot of dead money. A squeeze here can definitely be wider than normal, but that's mitigated a bit by him being in the SB. I wouldn't give him a tighter range than normal. I'd put him at about 99+/ATs+/AJo+ with maybe A3-A5s included. I think this is a pretty close spot to consider 4b/f with how deep the stacks are. If he flats you aren't necessarily in a set mine spot and you have position.

As played, on the turn? Tough spot, too. I'd most likely call and occasionally see that he binked a Q.

By the way, what is it with the 3.5BB open size? Why is it so large?

in lower buyin tourneys in early stages like that i make this size with premium hands just to extract more value from weak players. they won't notice that it could mean strong hand

good one, but how do you identify weak players?

Fold on turn 100% of the time. You're only bluff catching and you have to assume a nutted hand a) he 3bets very large b) he bets 1/3 pot to set up the all in on the turn c) he stacked off lol. The only of his bluffs I can think of are AKd, and if he's a good reg maybe some other diamond combos. Even then, he has out. But you lose and are dominated to KQ, AQ,QQ,KK,AA, and maybe A5s.

Assuming you didn't call turn you played fine
