This is a ProgressiveKO mtt and the limper in the small blind had the initial bounty. I had only 12 hands of each player.
Obviously, somebody woke up with a monster (that's surely why I put it for review) but my shove kinda feels wide now. Please enlighten me about this spot.

It surely seems the better option now. In a vacuum, with how many BBs would it be good to shove this spot? 15 or less?

Looking back, I think the only hand I would be confortable shoving here would be AK, as I block the hands that would dominate mine.

No look - smaller raise is best because we get more value from people flatting or coming over the top with hands that may fold to the shove. JJ is plenty strong enough to gii with 22BB - if we raise smaller we are not raising to fold to a 3 bet

AK is better as a small raise too ( 3-4BB) - maybe we can shove something like 77

With a limper, shoving is certainly within reason and JJ is clearly strong enough.

However, I think I prefer to raise to about 3.25x with my entire range. From EP with a limper, I'm not going to have that wide of a range to begin with, that I don't need to worry too much about over folding to a shove.

If we're polarizing our range we should make it a bigger size. Jamming seems fine to me though. If we were a bit deeper and not in a PKO (which incentives them to call our jam) I like making it 3x+ over the limp.

When stacks are this shallow, I prefer a linear range. I find that polarized ranges don't work so well when there is not much post flop play left. When the stacks are that it will mainly preflop and flop poker only, I think a linear range is better.

But with the bluff range, when there is the option for players to shove, I tend to decrease my bluff range as well to make my range tilted a bit towards value.

With those adjustments, I think my overall plan of betting small still works for me.
