JJ Against and early open and 3bet JJ Against and early open and 3bet

$20 ACR
Blinds: 15/30 (very deep and early)

UTG1 Stats: 37/23 over 43 hands
UTG2 Stats: 26/15 over 127 hands; 2% 3bet

PREFLOP: UTG1(350bb) opens 2x; UTG2(300bb) 3bets to 7.5bb; HERO-MP(300bb) cold-calls with JJ; UTG1 completes

FLOP: (3way, Pot=24bb) 755 UTG1 checks, UTG2 cbets 18bb, HERO calls, UTG1 folds

TURN: (HeadsUp, Pot=60bb) 2 UTG2 bets 31bb; HERO folds

Could use some insight on all three streets. Are you ok with the cold-call PF instead of a 4bet? On the flop, ok with flatting as opposed to raising to 'find out where I am' ? Is the turn fold ok, or are we too underrepped and strong to fold here?

Thanks for feedback!

I flat the 3b pre, call the flop (this big sizing doesn't seem like QQ+ too often on such a dry board) and call the turn.

One thing to note is that I think UTG2 can have a wider 3b bluffing range than usual in this spot. If I were UTG2, I would probably widen my 3b-bluff range a bit here as an exploit. My reasons:

1. We are all super deep
2. The UTG1 player is extremely loose aggressive so far.
3. The UTG1 player opened for a min-raise, which I think is a mistake when playing with such deep effective stacks.
4. Raising the UTG1 player from UTG2 looks extremely strong, so most players yet to act will be playing very careful.

With those factors in play, I think the UTG2 player has a wider 3b range than usual. His flop sizing seems a little strange to me on a dry board, so with JJ in your spot I like calling down here on this board. I'm at least calling until the river and then I will evaluate the situation then...by looking at stats, bet sizing, timing, etc. before making a big river decision.

I don't like 4b pre, since it's hard to mix in bluffs vs. these ranges and I don't want to get into a situation trying to play post in a 5b pot.

I think we have enough hands on V to say that they are fairly passive pre 3b range could be as tight as KK+ although could be a fair bit of AK type hands too - I think the flat pre is fine as we have the odds to set mine - flop seems kind of close but I think it's a call. Turn seems like a fold

his cbet%, turn bet % are important here as well

call pre, call flop, fold turn this early vs this particular villian, with a 2% 3b over a decent sample, when hes doing this to ep opener he should be fairly bladed
