Should I be taking a different line at any point in the hand? I could see arguments for c/f this flop since Villain seems to be on the aggressive side and could easily semibluff jam tons of hands OTF.

From BB's perspective what are the best semi bluffs to jam here? 54s, 43s and Axs, Kxs with BDFD? With a hand like A5 or K5 is the better play just to call and let SB barrel off OTT?

Limp is the way to go with this stack size.
J9s plays very well postflop.

As played, don't bet flop, 532 don't hits his range way harder than yours.

limp/jam is also very good line

L/c definitely crossed my mind but wouldn't raising to get folds from population who overfold preflop be more +EV rather than limping and letting them realize free equity?

I'm totally on board with using l/c strategy when deep in MTTs with ICM pressure but still not convinced that it's a good strategy against weak opponents in early stages of an MTT

the problem with raising here is look at his stack, he has a perfect reshove stack and its bvb. If he has half a clue he should know that shipping pre is going to be one of his best options and should be shoving a fairly wide range including SCs and many suited wheel aces.

If we have reads hes overfolding and doesn't 3b much is proly fine to open but if hes good l/c or l/j is going to perform better imo

How do we play our range in the SB then at these stack sizes? I assume it will be very Villain dependent but against unknowns should we be using a linear or polarised strat? As in
Linear: Minraise premiums, l/c next best hands, l/f next best hands, fold the rest
Polar: Min raise premiums, l/c next best hands, l/f next best hands, min raise next best hands, fold the rest

Btw any free articles or resources you would recommend for someone starting out in MTTs?

Playing from the small blind is tricky, but alot of people these days are using a good balanced limp strategy and the polar description you have mentioned above seems to fit well. In order for this to work you have to start limping the top of your range sometime too so you dont get exploited.

Do alot of study on how to play from the blinds because its such a key area in tournaments, see who the best players in the world are (P5s is good) then search for them on YT then study their game intensly. How do they play from the blinds, late, mid early pos, 3b strategy. Why are they doing what they are doing, what are they doing different from what im doing? Also try gripsed poker on YT glgl
