Interesting spot for both players in a Freeroll Interesting spot for both players in a Freeroll

Some background this tournament was put on by my local casino and based on the last 12 weeks the top 10 point leaders get to play in this freeroll.

There was an interesting spot where Im going to post both Hands and the Villain in this case is my dad, so weird spot.

Hero stack (approx. 13k)
Villain stack (approx. 19k)

Blinds are 100/200

Folded to the Hero in the Cutoff with 66 Hero raises to 400
Villain on the button re-raises to 1200 with JJ. Hero calls.

Flop is 6 9 10
Hero checks and Villain bets 1200, Hero re-raises to 5k and Villain calls.

*I was planning on shoving almost any turn with my 6s.

Turn was the worst card in the deck 8
Hero checks and Villain bets 1200. Hero calls.

*Question I believe the Villain (Aka my dad) should be shoving this spot, open-ended straight flush draw, and an overpair and could get me to fold my set. If my dad would of shoved the turn what should I as the hero do here with my 6s. I have approx 7k left behind.

River was the A it goes check check. I win with my set

*Should the villain be betting the river based on the action at play or does he have to much showdown equity?

Any general thoughts on the hand that was played.

With the action as played, the villain has 0 combos of 7x. You lose value not shoving the turn. There is no card in the deck that you have to check, your only option after the c/r is jam the turn. Everything else is -EV

Now, next time if you want good analysis from the posters of the forum, you need to not show the results ( in this case villain's hand)

Little advice, you need to start thinking in ranges and not actual holdings. Work on that.
