So we limp and he raises. Flatting or folding is fine. Once we see the diamond flop he bets almost pot. I honestly think folding here is fine. We have a lot of equity but we are oop against a player who is now building a pot to play for stacks. Jamming is terrible imo as we are covered and villain has 80 bb's (we should probably be playing tighter against this player since he's to our direct left and can bust us, tho i'm not entirely sure how loose/tight he is). We aren't getting the right price to call and tho i'm not sure what his range consists of with this bet sizing, I don't think he is going to stop this aggression. Maybe calling once is fine if we think we have implied odds, tho we might not get action when another diamond comes and since villain raised us pre we may have reverse implied odds when we hit our K.
Overall this is just a ****ty spot to be in. If we flat we can at least rep the 9 when it pairs or wait for villain to slow down and steal the pot later. By jamming flop we represent...22 and 33? We shouldn't have any two pair and there aren't made straights on board. It's lots of flush draws so Villain will be able to play pretty perfectly against us when we jam. I personally would ditch the hand to the 5bb bet on the flop.
Thanks this makes 100% sense. At the time he was pretty lose and just wanted him to fold but I guess it doesn’t make much sense
