    so,im somewhat of a spewer in these bountybuilders because i play them mostly on feeling(???). can someone help me and explain plainly how should I calculate if this is profitable hand to call or not / how much equity do I need given his stack. i've found some articles but they werent much helpful

    Kind of depends where you are in the money, are you close to ITM, are you ITM already? That will make a difference if you want to try and calculate it out.

    My instinct would be that having 46BB or 37BB isn't going to make an enormous amount of difference to your tourney EV but having the chance to win a bounty is significant, so i might be tempted to make the call. I guess you have to assign a range to him and figure out how Q8o does against it. If it's better than 30% or so, probably calling is OK.

    you need to convert the bounty into chips.
    if 82$ is 5000 chips (starting stack), 75$ bounty means (75/82)*5000= 4573
    so you nead to complete 6055 into 13,258 pot, which gives you 2.19:1.
    you need 31.5% for it be a +EV. if he shoves his top 15% you have 30.75% so it depends if you think he shoves wider or tighter.

    i would just call it, we have huge stack and we can still play even if we will loose those 9bb
