You can call pre but you'll realize your equity very poorly (as in you won't win the pot as often as your prelop equity).
As played, you suddenly decide that now you do have fold equity when your opponent bets out on a board of which you miss with a minclick behind, and you get called by the one hand you aren't crushed by.

No need to be sorry, I appreciate the feedback. In game my thought was the min click could get some better ace highs to fold (seems like low stakes players often over fold despite great price) and in some, but very few, my ace high is still good (against broadway combos).
Wanted to see if looking for stop and go spots post flop off the short stack was a thing in spots where we are marginal and does not seem like we have much fold equity, but I see your point re simply jamming pre is going to be better.
