I've been playing a few micro stakes multitable sngs lately and I've one spot come up a few times which I'm not sure how to deal with.
I basically try to play a fundamentally strong game and profit from other players making stupid mistakes (because it's microstakes), but occasionally I'll make a standard raise from a position where the range is appropriate, get 1-3 callers, and miss the flop. If I'm in position, they check to me, I throw out a cbet and one of them raises or even jams and I need to fold, as their range is terrible so they can flop the nuts on a 356 rainbow board. If I'm OOP I cbet and the same thing happens.
Obviously one solution to this is to stop cbetting unless I flop a hand or a decent draw, but then I'm literally playing poker where I only bet if I have a hand. Is there a way to defend against this?
