Hi guys

FT; Preflop raiser has raised first 4 hands of the FT in a row

I think ICM dictates that he should fold but his really top range as there are 3 shorter guys right? So the shove is good?

he prob should fold a lot but that's not to say that he will esp as he is the bigger stack

ICM pressure on us is huge so it's not a good spot to gamble

ICM suicide imo. You don't really have the stack to be putting pressure on others, especially ones who cover you.

Seems like a fold.

This is a fold. You risk to bust the tournament. You have to play really tight when they are a few shorter stacks coz you don't wanna bust before them

Uummmm i thought villain should be suffering "acute ICM" too because if he calls and loses then he goes from 2º to almost nothing

But ok, i get your idea guys...i have more ICM pressure than him right?

You definitely put a lot of icm pressure on him but there are more players behind, which might wake up with a strong hand and creamed/eliminate you. If you were in the BB then that would have been a different story. This might be a marginally profitable play but I don't know. I see no issue with overfolding. If you were 3x your stack, then I would have loved your play.

I am not an icm expert myself so I am interested in hearing other opinions.

In a $1.80 tourney you can't assume your opponents know anything about ICM.
