V seemed like a LAG so I limped. I guess this is a good flop to stab since I'd imagine people on these stakes would isolate most of their Ax and strong Kx hands.
A turn bet is a misconception tho, it shows too much strength so it's definitely a check especially vs a LAG player. I guess a check/call and same on river.

But as played, I don't really know what should I expect after that weird turn raise, but I guess he sometimes could make a thin river valuebet with random 2p or continue bluffing so I guess my line is fine except that turn bet.
    Thoughts?

With 18bb in bb I'd just shove pre. Flop is better as an x/c imo

18bb effective is a lot to be open shoving with this hand. I don't mind the SB limp - this is a line I don't use very often but I hear a lot of pros advocating it when facing an aggro opponent in the BB.

Flop is a good spot for a x/shove though against a laggy player.

Pot is only 3bb otf so I think we're too deep to x/shove

Why? You're prepared to shove 18bb effective preflop, this way you get an extra bet out of villain and you get your chips in with a fd+gutter.

It would be closer if we had the gutty but it's just a flush draw.

We'll have odds to x/c flop so it's pretty safe and straight forward to play.

The thing about shoving pre is we are almost never far behind. By waiting to the flop we only stand to win 1bb more and we let our opponent see the flop

    Good point, fd+backdoor gutter.

But you don't know if you have the odds to x/c if he fires a good sized bet on the flop. And although you're never far behind shoving pre, you are always behind if called.

I could go either way, just throwing it out as another option.
