Best reason to check river is if CO is capable of trying to punk you due to ICM. If he'd shown desire to be an ICM bully I'd check

But it's a habit I had to break from to auto check rivers to the flop and turn cbettor. In normal circumstances he's just not betting river often enough for thin value or as a bluff at these stakes, run out was just blatantly favourable to us. I'd lead river no more than half pot and let him hero with Tx, overpairs and A high if he wants.

If there wasn't 2 clubs on that board I would just call the turn but in this situation I'm c/raising turn and then making a value bet (appox 1/3 ps bet) on the river to try and get called by his overpairs. Checking the river gives him a way to get away from his hand by not having to commit any more money. The only reason to check the river her IMO is if you think he'll also bet his missed flush draws as a bluff but I don't see that happening on this board.

x/r turn also.. there is enough draws on the board for v to level and convince himself we are fos and we could get hero'd alot.

Agree with chazmoney about x/r wet textures and just flatting dry ones
