Hi all, my first post on here so here goes. Do I just fold it pre and wait for a better hand and better spot. Or was this the right time to gain some chips. Just not sure what I’m supposed to do fold pre or raise and see a flop. A messed up river and I’m out. Was about 30th place with 140 left. Thanks, I hope I’ve done this right!

i would fold pre because of the short stacks behind you. If you raise and they shove what are u going to do? you basically will be priced into call.

as for the post flop play, i would just get all the chips in on the flop , i mean what else are we supposed to do after flopping a draw with these effective stacks in play?

calling is a big no go! if u were deeper perhaps id be more inclined to call but again with these effective stacks in play i would not call flop and thats just my input on the hand :P

I like the open, I just would fold to the kinda big 3bet.

open is fine - we obviously call any shortstack shoves - but otherwise it should be a b/f - without a read - large squeeze oop is mostly a strong range
