300/600/75. Going up to 4/8 in about 10 minutes, bagging after 500/1k. Villain is young tag Asian and we haven't played many pots together.

21k, V covers. Open hj w AdQs to 1400, V flats button, heads up.

Ks Js Ts 2500, V calls.

Turn Jd, we?

In game we check and V bets 4500, we?

Thanks for reading.

c/c is pretty easy on turn. It's a better turn for him than you so you wanna protect your check range. You also have plenty of bets on the turn (KJ/JT/TT+/flushes) and I think if you are betting all those and straights (especially straights with the re-draw) you're simply betting too many value hands to be close to correctly balanced.

Seems like a spot where we want to check our whole range imo

Unless you are splitting sizings, think you will be checking way too many hands otf going 3/4 pot here, but w/e, id be more like 1/3 otf.
As played b/c the turn all day.

..edit, misread potsize otf, sizing fine, b/c ott.

Flop looks good. c/c turn all day. I don't buy into the "balance your range" argument in live big field events. You flopped strong and could get stronger. He doesn't have a set/FH as a young TAG is 3! all pp TT+.

I know V covers but his stack size matters IMO. How big?

I guess

Stacks behind?
You think AJ in his range pre?

Not an easy c/c but viable (after you bet 2/3).

Bet was 2500 into 4450, so slightly over half.

I think we're too high in our range to fold and check/call is fine, but this is really one of the more miserable turns we can get.

Real question for me when we check/call turn is what do we do on blank rivers and we get fired on again - are we calling it off considering we block flushes and our opponent can have AJ/QJ that they might be overvaluing?

Agree w/ this .
Really stupid spot and not such an easy x/c as others say. (We can't really fold, but what do we do otr? )
@Ampefund how do you even consider bet/c ott? (Prob worse option)

I think sizing otf should be 1/4-1/3, for our cont range. Bloating this pot to < 2:1 spr ott vs his cont range, just made our 3 street options oop, a lot less appealing.
So as played, think we miss value vs his 1 spade/1pr combos, and it really depends how many KJo-JTo combos a described TAG flats pre, because he most likely 3bets all of his would be sets, and a good portion of his remaining Axss.
