Hi,

I'm considering switching to MTTs from 5nl cash on stars. I have a friend in a discord group who is a big Micro MTT grinder, between 1.10 and $10 BIs. I have a Bankroll of $350 on stars so I would start in the $1-$5 BI range.

My main question is that my friend is able to grind these tourneys that go for 6-10 hours and keep him up till deep into the AM. I can't do that and afford to be up all night, what would my best bet be to play tourneys that are 3-4 hours? I've been told SNGs are a lot tougher of a field than micro MTTs. Is there somewhere in stars lobbys that say how long they run on average? I've seen that on some SNG lobbies.

180 man turbos are still soft, I don't care what anyone else says

They run pretty regularly during peak hours and they usually take a couple hours to finish.

Ur best play should be 6/9/18/45 bots TURBO sng at 1.5$. And like mixing it. After u have enough gold u can add 2.5$ turbo and 4.5 non turbo 180s. Play with this variance calculator http://pokerdope.com/tournament-variance-calculator/
Average roi for regs afaik at 1.5$ level /around the same at 1/2.5/3.5/4.5$/ 6/9+10,18/45+20/180 turbo around 30,180 non turbo around 50

Just to add that 6/9 do not have breaks, 18 have brakes past 2 hours 8:55/10:55 etc. 45 and above have normal breaks.
