First off, does anyone know of any way to convert Ignition hand histories? It is super time consuming going thru each hand and putting together a good description of the hand for you guys...

Hand in question...

Blinds - 75/150
Hero dealt JJ UTG+3 w/ 15bb.
Raise to 450. HJ and CO both call.
Im first to act post flop on a Qh7c3c board.
HJ has 30bb, CO has 15.

I chose a really passive line and elected to check and subsequently folded to a half pot bet that would have been for half of my stack. I basically gave up to a single over card. Villains stats were 30/19/13 (Vpip,pfr,3b) My question is, should I have cbet that board? With 2 villains behind, one of which is fairly aggro, and my stack being only 12bb on the flop, I had no idea what the correct play was...And in those spots i turn into a little b**** lol. Any insight will be much appreciated. Thanks

JJ with 15BB is the instant all-in.

You're basically answering your own question in two different threads. In another thread, a player shipped 15BBs in the HJ and you're wondering if you should have snapped the BTN with AJo.

In this hand, you had JJ with 15 BBs and you didn't open ship it in MP? If everyone folds it's still a win, and going 3 or 4-way to the flop with JJ with 15BBs is an awful prospect. This is not a hand to have in a 15bb opening range. Ship it pre.

As played, just ship it. There's way too much money in the pot vs. your remaining stack size and you're letting them play perfect, but at this point you need the chips and a club draw may still call you here. If someone has a Q and calls (fortunately you block QJ which helps a bit as far as their flatting ranges pre), then oh well, you shoulda shipped pre.

I disagree with just jamming preflop but overbet shoving the flop is a must here. A c-bet would take you down to around 7 or 8 bb which is why shoving is preferred here. As played, I hope you have good short stack abilities as these are key MTT skills.

With no antes, I don't like to shove 15BBs. But shoving is better than a 3x open.

I would open 300 - 330 here and play small ball. Opening 450 with these stacks puts you in no man's land post flop. But playing small ball, artificially makes the stacks a little deeper. With the 3x open and a standard c-bet you have passed a pot commitment threshold point. With the small ball open and a small c-bet, you have not quite reached the pot commitment threshold.

That also means that you maintain leverage going to the turn if your c-bet is called.
