Cashing Consistently....but I want to win! Cashing Consistently....but I want to win!

Hey everybody, I am a former professional player that lived in Vegas during the boom. Been a recreational cash game player with a few tourneys here and there for the past decade, but have really started getting into it and playing tournaments again - mostly small stakes ($200-$500 buy ins) - I am making the money pretty consistently - chopped one 3 ways and finished 4th but I really need to work on my end game. I was a total student of Harrington’s books back in the day - but the game has changed so much. I am finding myself at the end short stacked often just because I have been playing relatively tight.

My question is - are there any new materials to study? Books? YouTube?
Everything seems to be focused on cash games

there are loads of courses and coaching groups offered:

bbz: enbosses like apestyles, 1conor1, tonka, bungakat making the courses / coaching sessions
rye: endbosses bencb etc.
pokercode: endbosses fedor holz etc.
dto: dominik nietsche

most crushers make the money only around 12%, but if they usually have monster stacks (like adamo...), sure in lower stakes you can get away with a higher itm rate and still more often win, but the mtt game has changed a lot, there is a lot of 3 bet shoving with suited broadways, low ax, kx (up to 40bb) and 4 bet (up to 60bb) shoving with low axs, kxs ..... especially when icm is a big factor

For tourneys, I would tell you to get really good at the math. I can consistently cash and get a stack... but always comes down to one hand with the guy on table I dont want to get involved with. Implied odds are HUGE, how much can you stand to win? Play a lot more hands in position and open a lot more wider than you ever thought.

Also, a big help has been Jeff Boskey Poker Vlog. Studying what he says has brought my game to the next level. Its a whole new beast out there, a lot of smallish 3 bets to opens. Tight and aggo wins, but i dont think it does in this day and age.
