MP+1: 30.1 BB (VPIP: 22.22, PFR: 11.11, 3Bet Preflop: 20.00, Hands: 9)

SB posts SB 0.5 BB, BB posts BB 1 BB

Pre Flop: (pot: 1.5 BB) Hero has K A

fold, Hero raises to 2.4 BB, MP calls 2.4 BB, fold, fold, fold, fold, BB calls 1.4 BB

Flop: (7.7 BB, 3 players) J 2 4
BB checks, Hero bets 14.34 BB and is all-in

Does this jam make sense? I didn't feel like I had a lot of options here. Would it be better to check the flop and see if I could get a free card? Or do we get so many folds here that this makes sense?

Thanks,

BlueDpkr

I might go ahead and rip it in preflop here, we can put alot of pressure on pairs and strong broadways.

AP: I would either cb small or check the flop.. slightly leaning towards cb seeing we have x2 bdsd and x2 overs. Interested to see how vs ranges interact with this texture on flopzilla tho (if someone haz?).

Dont like the allin, we allow opponents to play perfectly, they have easy call TP or better and easy fold all bricks

Shove pre.

yeah, shoving on the preflop seems to be the best option with this hand and 16BB - basically from any position.

Hi guys.
Is it possible open raise 2.4x as Hero with this hand to induce other players to shove worse hands (AJ or AQ)?

It is possible but I don't think it is the best option, as many of those times, some people with some random worse hands will just call IP or from the blinds and most of the flops will not bring a K or a A to make it easy for you. This shallow and even though there are no antes, shove pre.

AP, check back and hope for a pretty turn.
